Good Greif!

So I just got back from the all day briefings. At least they provided muffins and donuts. :) Sky is still there taking the driving test.

Lets see... we had the Base Commander talk to us for a while, he seems like a really nice guy. I had my back to the door and when someone called the room to attention it startled the crap out of me and I started to jump up with everyone but I got stuck on the table so I just sat back down and he came up and put his hand on my shoulder and jokingly told me that I could remain seated. lol It was quite embarrassing. After him a CMSgt spoke, I don't know his exact title but he pretty much is the Base Commander's right hand man. He also was very nice. Really funny guy too.

Then we had the base Chaplin, the hospital, Red Cross, Family Advocacy...etc. Pretty much all the services (the ones that showed up anyway, some people had scheduling issues like the dental clinic) on base. They scared me a little, I mean it is a nice day out but they kept talking about how hot it was and its probably in the 50s. Luckily I just got two awesome new jackets.

Last night I got to talk to my dad on the phone, which made me really happy. I was talking to him while Sky and his new friend sat around drinking 40s of OE... ewww. lol

Tomorrow and the day after we have tours of nearby locations. So I will try and post pictures ASAP!
