UPDATE!!

I'm at my sister's house right now and we're waiting for the cupcakes for her work potluck to bake. We drove 12 hours the first day and made it to Amarillo at about midnight (Texas time) I had completely forgotten the time difference and felt so bad that Katie got the day off when she could have worked! So we hung out and cried a bit because we couldn't stay that long and we left about noon the next day. (after getting like 3 hours of sleep!) Then we drove to Ft. Worth. We got to my grandparents house about eight last night and introduced the dogs to each other. At first it wasn't going too well, our dogs were awfully barky but finally they kind of warmed up to each other. I think they were really on edge because when we were in Amarillo Katie's dog, Cookie, snapped at Bella and Sasha was not having any of that.

The dogs were drugged as hell on both drives so they were incredibly amusing. Bella is such a energetic dog that she actually required two of her sedatives. I think they may be used to being in the car now so we should hopefully only have to give her one when we head out of here. We shall see.

I'll post pictures probably when we get to Florida because I think that is when we will have more access to the internet as well as more time, and probably more pictures! I just wanted to stop by and let everyone know I am safe and we're in Ft. Worth. Its weird being homeless... lol. But back to the cupcakes. I'll update again when I can!

=D Wicked amused!!

So after some cleaning, and some slacking, we went over to a friends house and hung out for a while. He made us crab legs, steak, and potatoes. He's so awesome! Same guy who made me my teddy bear pancake =) So anyway, while he cooked Sky and I watched "The Strangers" which was okay but could have been better, I thought. (Desiree you can watch it, there isn't really any gory stuff. Danielle, you'd probably be scared shitless.) Then we ate and then just hung out and talked. I don't remember quite how we got on the topic but we started talking about cornstarch and water being mixed together. I had never played with it before and our drunk friend decided it would be an awesome idea... and it TOTALLY was! That stuff is AMAZING! We played with it for WAY longer than I'd care to admit. If you haven't done it, do it immediately. Its not quite a liquid but not quite a solid. You have to get a really good consistency going... Do it now!!! ..... Did you do it?? Awesome, huh? Do you want to tell someone? Go ahead, I'll wait...

Did they think it was cool?? =) lol. Moving on. Tomorrow we will be without internet but I'm not even sure I'll get the chance to blog tomorrow. We have quite the amount of stuff to finish before we go over to my parents house and we're getting up really early. I'll blog when I can, and I will call you guys when I can (Kimmie, Danielle) and Desiree, I will see you soon! I can't wait! All you other guys, don't you forget about me! I'll be around. Deuce!

Yeah buddy!

Yesterday we went and checked out a Kimber SIS Custom over at Gun's Plus. We talked to the guys found out what price it would be for us and had them hold it until noon today for us to come in with our other guns and figure out what we could get it to. This is regularly about a 1300 dollar pistol. We ended up getting it for just over 300 (with an extra mag and a box of ammo). Yes, we traded in our other firearms which were decent but less than spectacular, but now we have something special. Something worth holding on to. And when we get back from Japan we will probably get another Kimber, maybe an Ultra Carry, we shall see.

Tonight we are just cleaning and then going to Ono's Hawaiian BBQ for dinner with my parents. We are almost out of here! I can't believe everything is happening so fast! ...sigh... I guess I should get back to being productive. We still have to "Remove all trash, food, and personal belongings. Broom sweep all flooring. Remove excess grease build-up, stains, and spills from all appliances, and Remove all unauthorized graffiti and markings from walls and ceilings." =) Ah, out-processing base housing is so much fun.

NO TO PROP 102!!!!!

GRRR!!! I've been seeing all of these "Yes to 102, Yes to marriage" signs and its really pissing me off!!!! I don't see what is so horrible.... you know what... never mind. I'm not even going to get started. But NO TO 102!!

Our stuff for non temp storage was picked up today so that's good. Even better I didn't have to do anything! My wonderful husband let me sleep in and took care of it all. I woke up before it was done and he told me to go ahead and go inside and call Kimmie since I hadn't spoken to her in quite a while. Speaking of Kimmie, ((hugs)) to her because she has been very sick these past few days.

Sky and I are going to take a nap because our lives have been pretty hectic lately with all the cleaning/packing/moving/organizing/purchasing... etc plus trying to spend time with my parents and not ignore the dogs. He's at the hospital right now getting his records and then when he gets home we will nap, then clean, then go to my parents house to hang out, and of course, eat because my mom rocks.

I just wanted to drop by and write a bit while I have the chance. I'll update as I can, as much as I can.

Happy face!!!

SOOO!!!! Our house is like COMPLETELY empty!!! Well not completely, but all of the big stuff/stuff we are taking is gone. We just have to clean out the fridge, pantry, and under the sink because the washer and dryer and the storage area are being picked up tomorrow. The guys who packed us were really nice, very cool, asked about stuff and were very open to color coding my items for me. I'm fairly certain that I will end up with no trash at our next duty station. =) lol. So thank you, Desert Sun moving company, I am very satisfied.

Well, an update on the laptop situation. We were trying to hook the laptops up to each other to see if we could somehow manage to get our files from the old one to the new one. We had just bought an external hard drive but didn't think to back up the laptop because we were taking it with us... well, lesson learned there. Well anyways, nothing was working, so we decided today that we would go to Geek Squad and see if they could do it. The kid we talked to there was really cool and he said that due to privacy issues they couldn't back up the entire computer, we had to tell them specifically what we wanted and it would be $100. So then he suggested we hook the laptop up to a regular monitor and do it that way. We had already considered that idea but figured we would have to screw with a video card, which would be difficult considering we can't see anything on the screen, but he told us all we had to do was plug it in and hit "function F8" twice and it would switch the video from the laptop to the other monitor!!! I was so excited that he saved us a hundred dollars I just wanted to hug him! So, go Best Buy in Surprise for making my day.

I am exhausted but also a little wired if that makes any sense at all. It has been a long day but also a very productive one. Sky just got done blowing up our air mattress so I guess pretty soon here we're going to turn in for the night. More picking up and cleaning tomorrow! Hopefully it goes as smoothly as today and yesterday. Oyasumi Nasai!

GRR!!! ... =)

Sooo... Where to begin? Yesterday all of our unaccompanied baggage went, and right now the guys are finishing up our household goods. Our house is almost empty, its insane. Now just tons and tons of cleaning.

Last night while we were preparing for these guys today our precious laptop commited suicide. It decided to jump from the nightstand and break its face. Seriously, you can't see anything on the screen. What are you typing on, you ask? I'm just that good. lol No we went out at like 10 last night and bought a new laptop. Its an HP, its pretty nice. It has vista though. Oh well. After these guys head out Sky and I are going to swing by Best Buy and see if the Geek Squad can get everything off our old one despite the fact you can't see anything. I really hope they can, its pretty important to us. Turns out we are going to have internet until Sunday. I just wanted to drop by and give a quick update but I have tons of stuff to do. Ja mata!

Crazy stuff...

So last night was a lot of fun but also disappointing because before Metallica we went to Yates Pontiac/GMC in Goodyear and checked out a Pontiac G8 GT. We got REALLY close to getting it but it just wasn't a good financial decision. But those are really sexy. If you're in the market for a new car check out Yates Pontiac/GMC and see Tyler Yates. He was the guy who was talking to us, and I typically am not fond of car sales people but he was really nice and very cool. So then there was Metallica. I really, really dislike Lars. lol

So this morning the guy from the moving company came to get our unaccompanied baggage. He was really cool, very nice. He was color coding the boxes for me. I'm exhausted and its only 1400. While he was packing everything that was going I stared readying the rooms for tomorrow. I'm doing laundry right now but I still have to pack, get our bedroom ready, and get both bathrooms ready. Internet is probably going down tomorrow so I will be on a hiatus. I will try to get on as much as possible through our traveling. Everyone take care and you'll be hearing from me soon.

OMFG!!!

Today was Sky's last duty day and they got him good. Lemon Meringue pie, baked beans, ranch, mustard, hot sauce... oh my.

I just got a call that the guy from the moving company will be here between 0830 and 0930!! I'm freaking out!

And Metallica, tonight, at the jobing.com area, at 1900!

Back

From the BX. We got my wonderful mother in law some Shiseido stuff. That being said, I just want to brag about how wonderful my mother in law is. Seriously, she is amazing. I am so lucky to have her in my life. I'm so sad for people who don't get along with their in laws (don't get me wrong, plenty of them have perfectly good reasons). I love my in laws. All of them, mother, father, brother... Even Sky's aunts and uncles. I haven't met some of them in person yet but they are so funny and welcoming. So, to my wonderful family, I love all of you. How did I get so lucky? I already have such a wonderful family that I was born into. My future children are going to have it made. =)

So anyways, I've compiled a list of things I have left to do:
Go through bathrooms
Go through entry way
Go through kitchen cabinets
Ready microwave and toaster to go
Take videos of electronics working
Finish documentation
Finish going through storage area
Finish guest bedroom
Master bedroom
Vacuum and clean vacuum out
Sweep and mop kitchen/game room/front hall/bathrooms

We also have to get rid of the table and get the dogs nails clipped... so I better get dinner warmed up and start on the rest of that stuff.
Oh and lol on the RR!

Hmm...

So I've got these videos to share with you. One of them is just awesome, and the other many people think is fake. I think its real, you can decide for yourself. here is the "fake" one. Here is the awesome one.

Grr!! Sky just got home and he just told me that TOMORROW is his last duty day instead of today. Which is total BS! GRRRRR!!!!

Anyways, we have to run to the BX. I may post more later...

Bad words

I've decided to try and stop saying gay/homo...etc because I have nothing against homosexuals, in fact, I'm totally for gay marriage etc as most of you know, or you can see from my previous posts. I've been doing pretty well, I believe I've only slipped once in the past two days. I've been using lame a lot though. :)

I am also going to stop using p***y as a sign of weakness, because well, its pretty sexist. I will however continue using c**t and t**t. =)

Today we went over to my parents house and had a ridiculously awesome meal because my mom is the shizznit. She made beef and broccoli, lumpia, rice, and this Vietnamese salad that was really, really good.

Now I'm just sitting here, even though I should be doing something productive...
Well... I'm going to try that now.

Mini breakdown

So I just had a little breakdown. Sky and I were laying on the futon with our legs tangled up but our torsos spread apart and Sasha went and laid down at our feet and Bella crawled up and laid in between us facing me. She was being so damn cute and I would have taken a picture but she was laying up against me so I couldn't really get up. But we were petting her and she was just snuggling and I started crying again because as some of you already know, we aren't taking them to Japan. We're taking them to stay with "Grandma" and "Grandpa" K. Don't get me wrong, they'll love it there, probably way more than they would enjoy being in Japan with us, but I still feel like I'm abandoning them. I mean I know I'm really not, its not like I'm taking them to a shelter or just leaving them outside to fend for themselves, but they're my babies, and I love them so much. I know we kind of jumped the gun getting them in the first place but I never, in my entire life, had a pet, and I really wanted a dog. I'm just going to miss them so very, very much. I know this is the best thing for everyone, Sky and I will have the opportunity to focus on school as well as (hopefully) traveling Asia, Sky's parents will get the other dogs they've been considering for a long time, Bandit will get sisters again, and Bella and Sasha will get spoiled rotten, but it still doesn't make it any easier.

I'm going to miss (almost!) everything about them. The way that Bella "talks" in her sleep. Sasha's ADD. Bella's under bite. Sasha sitting so pretty. The way Bella loves to cuddle. Sasha's awesome ability to learn a new trick in a day. The way they play. How excited they always get when we come home, even if we've been gone for like five minutes. They're wonderful dogs, and even though they aren't at well behaved as I'd like they are always by my side. =(

Now I'm going to mope around and eat my lunch. Gomen... I just needed to get that out. Hopefully my next post won't be so sad.

lol (because I can't think of an interesting title)

Today was my sister's birthday. So Happy Birthday again, Desiree! Sky got his wicked awesome hoodie today, and it came out really well. I really like it and now I kind of want one. :) But mine is pretty awesome too.

So I'm not feeling very well yet again. Sky made this really awesome dinner but I couldn't eat it. All I wanted was fruit but we didn't have any and I didn't think it was going to be enough to fill me up so my wonderful husband took me to the store, we got some grapes, a lunchable, and my ice cream that I can only get at a select few places. And he got some Leinenkugel, which he maintains to be the best beer ever, but I think beer is gross so I don't know. That's his thing. So I'm going to eat my lunchable and we're going to watch clerks 2 wearing our awesome sweaters.

I had such a wonderful day

Yesterday. It started and ended amazingly well. =) After Sky got off work we went to dinner and that was really nice and he also took me to get a piece of Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake. We watched a movie. Nothing too fancy but it was fun and sweet. I love him so much. I am such a lucky girl. Seriously. These last two years have been so great, and while we've had our rough times and our arguments we've always gotten through them and with a better understanding of each other, ourselves, and our relationship. We have so much fun together all the time even while others would probably think that we were crazy. We agree on almost all important issues and we compromise with anything else. We really fit together like puzzle pieces. I'm so happy and so fortunate that I was able to find the love of my life so early on because now we have more time to spend together. I love you Sky... always.

<3

Happy two year anniversary to me! =) Oh how time flies...

I just got back from my completely pointless appointment. Oh well. I got to see Sky so that's cool. Then he had to go back to work. =( But it's okay. I don't know what we're doing tonight. We're doing dinner but I'm not sure where.

I love this man so incredibly much. I have such an amazing life. =)

:o

I slept till 10! I didn't wake up until my dad called me, but I'm still feeling ridiculously crappy so we've decided I need to go to the doctor tomorrow. Which kind of sucks because I really don't want to spend any amount of time during our anniversary in the waiting room at the hospital... but its for the best.

My sister and I were talking about a few things and she told me to look at a blog she reads from time to time (http://maronemacaroni.blogspot.com) and saw the writer had posted a blog about Proposition 8, and I just wanted to applaud her. My sister, who has a knack for sharing all news (typically of the depressing kind) also shared a story where a man, without his wife's knowledge, named their new daughter Sarah McCain Palin. I responded to her that there would be hell to pay and overhearing my comment Sky inquired about what we were talking about. I then relayed the information to him and he started joking around about doing that and the name he came up with was "Augusta Ninja Majik Fucker." I was laughing so hard I was crying and it is now my myspace display name.

Totally different subject here but I'm just very tired of some people. I don't understand some of them. They claim to be such good people but they are filled with such hate. So judgmental. Such hypocrites. I hope one day there will be a means to a happy ending for all.

Early Anniversary... and stuff

This morning I woke up before Sky did and I was feeling a bit better so I decided to make muffins. They were the Jiffy blueberry ones and they were delicious! We sat out on the porch and ate them and had coffee while we watched the puppies play. It was a gorgeous day today and it was really nice to be able to do that.

After we did that we hung out a little while and then I started feeling sick again so I took a nap and slept almost until my parents came over because Sky wasn't paying attention when I asked him to wake me up in half an hour, but that's beside the point. So my parents got over and hung out for a while and played with the dogs before we went to Black Angus for dinner. We had a really nice meal and our waitress was pretty cool. We got a piece of cheese cake to split and they wrote "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate sauce around the rim of the plate. It was really nice.

So that's pretty much all we did today. Sky ordered me a hoodie that had "The Second Amendment" on it that I was talking about a few posts ago and now he is designing a hoodie for himself on this website. So I'm going to let him get back to that. =)

=(

I have been under the weather for a few days now. I was feeling especially crappy after Sky and I went to Pei Wei for the first time (which I was not impressed with *sorry Desiree *I know, Danielle). I have just wanted to curl up and go to sleep until this goes away but tomorrow we have our anniversary dinner with my parents, I really hope that I feel at least a little better by then.

I saw Alex and Dave today who are some friends of ours. Alex is 25 weeks pregnant even though she looks like she just had a really big dinner. Seriously, she's tiny. Its almost disturbing. I was about to kill Dave because he kept joking around about her needing to lose weight and stuff. I mean, I know he was kidding but she's only gained like 15 pounds! Anyways when we went over there one of their neighbors had a "Yes to 102. Yes to marriage" sign in their front yard and I really wanted to hit them with it. But I'm not sure I have the energy to really get started on that.

So we did the Pei Wei thing after Alex and Dave's and as previously stated that's when I really started to feel terrible. So I took a nap when I came home and Sky woke me up before he went to play poker. I did some cleaning and now here I am, but its time to switch out the laundry so here I go.

Saturday, October 11, 2008

Alright...

I'll start from what happened last night.

So last night Sky went over to a friends house to drink and play guitar so obviously he stayed the night because we don't believe in driving after drinking. I didn't go because I wasn't feeling well and because it would have been way too much of a pain in the ass to get the dogs over there, so I just stayed home and decided to watch Robert Downey Jr movies. Well while doing so I was checking on this website where you can post anonymous messages and there was one that I was following closely about gay marriage and adoption. (here's the link if you want to read it http://truemilitarywivesconfessions.com/2008/10/i-am-prochoice-and-completely.php)
So of course any of the basis against gay marriage and adoption have religious foundations. Well a while back Kimmie bought me a bible and while I had heard parts of the bible in different churches as well as skimmed through a few I had never actually sat down and decided to read it from the beginning; well last night I decided to do just that. So I sit down and I begin to read it from the beginning.

Let me tell you, I was truly offended. At one point my jaw literally dropped. The part when god finds out that Eve and Adam eat the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and he says to Eve, and I quote, "I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth. And you will desire to control your husband, but he will rule over you." (Pause for reaction) WTF?? Seriously, am I the only one who thinks that god sounds like a total sexist prick?? That certainly isn't my only beef with the bible either. There are talking snakes and people who live to be nine-hundred something years old and mystery women who come out of nowhere. I just think its ridiculous how much stock is put into something that I find littered with guessing. I mean seriously with the exception of god himself, who could have accurately written the bible?

Even if the whole god thing is real this god is certainly not the type of deity I would want to be worshiping. Sexist, vengeful, unforgiving, judgmental. I am certainly no saint... and in the realm of religion and sins I'm probably doomed to hell. I've smoked, drank, done drugs, disobeyed and disrespected my mother and father, had premarital sex, I swear, and I don't believe... but in all honesty I think I'm a damn good person. I try not to lie, cheat, or steal even though I have in the past. I do what I can to help people and I would like to do more, and when the opportunity presents itself in my life I will be all over it. I honestly think that if god was supposed to be all about forgiveness that I would make it into heaven with no issue. I also think its ironic that a good portion of religious people that I've spoken with love judging sinners themselves. The ones I have encountered are some of the most judgmental people ever. Don't get me wrong, I judge, I try very hard not to but everyone does, and if you say you don't your full of it. Anyways, I should stop. I could go on for days about this (seriously I only read 8 pages of actual text) but I digress.

So this morning Sky comes in about 9 and shortly after his friend called to ask how he got out of the house when all the doors were still locked and just joking around I start saying that his friend should make me pancakes, and he agreed! So we showered and then headed over where he not only made pancakes, he made eggs, bacon, and English muffins! And then we find out he doesn't eat breakfast! I felt like such an asshole because we were eating this awesome meal he made for us and he's just sitting there! :( But he made me feel better because he made me a teddy bear pancake! It was so cute I almost didn't want to eat it. But I did, and it was delicious. So after we ate and hung out a bit we headed to my parents' house to drop off a computer desk for them. We stayed over there a bit and then Sky got a wild hair up his ass and decided we either needed to go bowling or go to a movie. So we checked out the movie listings and they didn't work out so we decided to go to the bowling alley on base.

We were bowling for a while and then these kids came up to the lane next to ours. There were three of them two girls and a boy. The boy was the oldest and he was probably about 8 and then one of his sisters was probably 6 and the other probably was 4. They were incredibly adorable and so well behaved! I was a little upset that their mom was like half way across the bowling alley but they were just great little kids. The youngest had a 6lb ball and it was like half the size of her so they put up the bumpers and they had this little ramp where all she had to do was set the ball in there and give it a little push and it would pretty much go straight ahead. Her brother was always helping her move it so she could get her pins and always telling the two girls to let us go first. They were just so cute. I had to share that. But we had a total blast bowling (Sky kicked my ass!) so I'd say today was a win. I still need to finish up my guest bedroom which is lame but its okay. I think we'll watch The Bank Job now...

Arg!

I am almost done with the guest bedroom but I cannot work up the energy to finish it. I'm feeling really sick and lethargic today. I hope I'll be feeling better by tomorrow... I better be feeling better by our anniversary! We're having dinner with my parents on the 13th to celebrate and then Sky and I will do something on our own on our actual anniversary.

So... next paycheck we will be getting Vonage and two more Japanese books. The Kana Pict-O-Graphix for Hiragana and Katakana and the one for Kanji. Then we should be completely set until I get enrolled in a class and end up needed a textbook.

Gah... too bad I hate politics so much. If I didn't I'd totally run for President. And my sister would be VP! People would hate me. I'm pro-choice, pro-gay marriage and adoption, and totally for the second amendment! In fact, I really, really want this shirt.
Oh come on, even if you hate guns that shirt is hilarious.

So anyways, I have been falling behind on pictures so I will definitely get some from our anniversary and probably from our anniversary dinner with my parents. So check back.

I just don't understand people sometimes

I just really wish that people would stop making everything about themselves and their opinions. I'm sure people can read that statement and call me a hypocrite but seriously, I don't see what is so terrible about same sex couples getting married and being able to adopt. You know, I'd probably be much more pro-life if gay couples could adopt because there would be a significant drop in the number of children who need homes. And the ironic part about all of this is usually the people who are against gay marriage and adoption are against abortion as well. So there are all of these kids who have no where to go because gay couples can't adopt. Its a vicious cycle and it bothers me to no end. I don't mind that everyone has their own opinion but when we start giving ourselves the power to choose anything for anyone else I just feel like freedom is slipping.

I just think its ludicrous that people want to keep gay couples from being married even though they aren't hurting anyone. I personally don't believe in organized religion but if I moved to have churches shut down and bibles pulled from bookshelves you better believe there would be war. But I don't care that any of that stuff is around because it isn't hurting me. I just wish people were more open minded or at least less touchy... we have a long, long way to go... I wonder if we'll ever really get there.

YAY!

I talked to Danielle for like 5 hours last night! lol And then I went to bed and slept until like nine, I talked to Kimmie a while. I cleaned a bit and worked out a little. Just like stretches, crunches, and used my dumbbells.

I also got my shoes today! That makes me happy. I talked to Danielle again and then I got ridiculously tired so I napped. Sky woke me up to food which was incredibly sweet of him. Then he and a friend of his went to play poker and I jumped in the shower. I actually just got out and now I'm going to study some Japanese so bye!

So

First a joke for you that made me laugh hysterically...

The other night I was invited out for a night with the "girls". I told my husband that I would be home by midnight. "I promise!" Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a m ... a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock, in the hallway, started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly, realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. Even when totally smashed........ 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals = 12 (Cuckoos MIDNIGHT!)
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him "MIDNIGHT".......he didn't seem pissed off in the least. Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said "We need a new cuckoo clock" When I asked him why, he said, "Well last night our clock cuckooed three
times, then said "oh shit" cuckooed 4 times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.

I thought that was really funny. :) Moving on... today I shuffled some more stuff around since I totally forgot to take my mom's computer desk over to her house because it was in the extra room. So I moved that as well as anything else we aren't keeping into the living room. Sky and I luckily were able to take care of the tickets. They refunded us the money for the tickets as well as the insurance but we weren't able to get the processing fees back, but that's okay. I really wish we were able to see them! Oh well, there will be other concerts.

Now my wonderful husband is making me dinner. Hopefully in a couple hours Danielle will be able to call me. She's supposed to be getting her internet today so if you look at her blog too check it out here soon. Well, I'm going to eat and maybe watch a movie.

Monday, October 6, 2008

Wow... I'm a douchebag.

Yeah... so you know those Apocalyptica tickets?? They were for October 20... Which means we don't get to go. :( I am sometimes not very observant. On the bright side in Sky's drunken stupor he bought the ticket insurance so we can return them for a full refund... but unfortunately also in Sky's drunken stupor he purchased 4 tickets. And since this is technically a "claim" it can take seven to ten business days for us to get our money back which means we are ridiculously broke for the moment. :(

But, we had a really awesome meal at my parents house and I wore my new Mary Janes and they were really comfortable. Also the guy who came over to check out our stuff and do the estimate was really cool so that was nice. He wasn't here too long either so I had some time to do stuff... which I used watching Ironman. (I know, I know, but Robert Downey Jr. is hot!) But I still got quite a bit accomplished. I was able to get us a room at Keesler for a night during our trip as well as get the dogs records in order. So that was pretty much the day. Sky and I have to head to bed now though. (I'll call you in the morning Kimmie.)

Wow... I'm a total spoiled brat

lol I don't know if it was the drinking last night or the fact I found a really good deal on memory cards on Amazon but Sky let me get those other shoes I wanted! I now have 5 pairs of new shoes. :) So my husband spoils me and my ridiculously awesome sister bought me a new coach purse too. AND Sky bought us Apocalyptica tickets!! We're going to see them on the 20th when we're in Denver. Awesome! I'm excited! I haven't been to a concert in quite some time. Although the last one I went to was amazing.

So anyways, here I am waiting for someone from the moving company to come here and check out all the stuff we want to move. But last night after Sky and Howell got pretty drunk Howell was going to walk home so we decided to walk him there and seriously the most disgusting thing ever happened. We were all wearing flip flops and a cricket somehow in the millisecond I had my foot away from my shoe jumped into it and I stepped on it. I was about to vomit. Luckily we weren't far from Howell's house so I ended up just limping over there to wash my foot and my flip flop off. I was incredibly upset with that situation.

Well. I guess I better tidy up a bit more before this person gets here. I'll be back later tonight.

Well...

Today was relatively uneventful. We had to return the memory card we bought for the camera because it wasn't working for us. We also returned the shoes that I got and ended up getting a different pair. I got some Mary Janes instead because neither of the Targets we went to had the shoes I wanted in the right size and color. The size 6 fit but they were really tight in the toe and I just didn't want to regret it. So I'll just get them later.

So now I'm watching Beerfest, while Sky and Howell play a little mini beer pong game on the coffee table. Its rather amusing. I also made brownies! Which are ridiculously awesome.

So, tomorrow the lady from the moving company who is moving our unaccompanied baggage is coming to the house to check out the stuff we're moving in the shipment and stuff. I really hope we can move all the stuff we plan on moving. I mean if we can't it isn't the end of the world, we just won't have all the stuff we want. So we shall see. I will update tomorrow.

Whoops...

I missed a day! lol That's okay because it will probably happen more frequently here soon. But "yesterday" was a pretty full day. First in the morning we took our sofa, loveseat, and entertainment center to the donation area on base and picked up the new guy in Sky's shop so that we could give it to him and his wife. When we got over to his house I was not expecting them to have anything and up comes this adorable little puppy! He seriously had one of the cutest puppies I've ever seen.

Anyway after that I talked to Kimmie briefly and then Sky, my dad, and I went to the mall and Costco. Then after that Sky and I went to Target and got a luggage set, an air mattress, a new memory card for our camera, and ....another pair of shoes! lol. The ones in the picture except mine are brown.

So then we came home and did a rough pack of our suitcases and then I packed almost everything away that is going in our unaccompanied baggage. So things are moving along, I'm really excited but I'm really nervous also. I can't wait for all the moving stuff to be over and done with so we can get on with seeing everyone and then getting there. Well, I'm tired so I'm going to crash here shortly. Oyasumi Nasai.

Things are better

So when Sky came back from the store I told him about what happened and we talked about everything and he told me to go ahead and see what I could find and to get a third pair of shoes! He's so sweet. I'm such a lucky woman. He's so good to me. :) So I decided to go ahead and get the "gladiator" heels in a really dark brown and get the same boots I wanted in gray and I got a different pair of black boots.

I'm almost done with my inventory for the unaccompanied baggage which is awesome. So hopefully I can get everything into position to show the lady on Monday so she won't have to be here long and I can get some stuff done before we go to my parents house for dinner.

I got to talk to Danielle today! That was awesome since I have been really worried about her. She gets internet soon so hopefully I'll get to talk to her as soon as it gets set up. Tomorrow is going to be a pretty full day so I will definitely try and post but if not I'll try to update on Sunday...

Well eff.

I'm having a bad day. :( I got my shoes today and I was so excited but the heels are too big and the boots are too small even though they're both size 6.5. So I call the company and they say to place the same order with the right sizes and we'll do an exchange, the good news is there is no restocking fee the bad news is I'll be out the money I have to pay to ship the products back to them. Okay, not that big a deal. So I go to place the same order, well they don't have the boots in the size I need. I call again, she says its okay just find some different ones, again since it is an exchange I don't have to pay a restocking fee if I end up ordering a different item. That's cool and all except I LOVE the boots I ordered. Its okay though, I find a pair I like that is the same price. Cool, off to the shoes. They don't have those in the size that I need them either!!! Grr... I don't want to order brown ones but I may have to. So now I'm reconsidering everything. I really want to talk to Sky but he's grocery shopping and his cell phone is here. :( I'm upset. It isn't just because of the shoes either. My dogs are being jerks but even still I'm going to miss them like hell. I'm just sad and overwhelmed. I really feel like crying. And to top things off its the week without my patch (if you get my drift ladies... and I'm sure that gave it away to you gents too)... maybe that's why I'm so emotional right now. *sigh*

On a good note I'm ahead in my Japanese lessons.

OMG!!!

So... I may be taking a hiatus here in the very, very near future. We had our TMO briefing today and on Monday someone who is moving our "unaccompanied baggage" is coming to the house to check it out! :o This is all happening really fast!!! I'm excited and really nervous. So off to do a ton of stuff. I will try to keep posting as things happen but I may fall behind. Worry not, when I get to Japan I will try to recap these last few crazy weeks!!! T-minus 26 days until we leave AZ!

^_^

I got my over the knee socks today! That made me happy.

Lets see. Today I woke up, spoke briefly with Kimmie before she went grocery shopping and I went to the mall with my mom. I wore my new shirt dress (didn't get pictures yet, but I will once I get my shoes and such) and didn't feel as uncomfortable as I typically do in a dress. So we went to the mall and then to Sam's. Then I came home and hung out and studied Japanese until Sky came home then we went to my parents house for dinner. While we were there we watched Vantage Point which was pretty good. Forest Whitaker FTW!!! He was flippin awesome in that movie. Dennis Quaid was pretty good too.

That's about all I did today actually. Went to Wal-Mart and bought some things for the move. So today was a pretty lazy day. Tomorrow will hopefully be a little more interesting for you. Going to hit the sack though. Oyasumi-nasai.
